Phase 1 – Analyze, Audit & Plan

This the what makes all the rest possible. Without analyzing the current site and target goals, there is no way to plan or execute an effective SEO campaign. This work is often skipped by less reputable firms trying to save money and present a lower cost product.

During this initial phase, which is arguably the most important of all three, our team of SEO experts reviews, analyzes, researches and audits everything about your site, your competitors and your industry as it relates to people searching for and finding your types of products or services.

Analyze Your Website’s Current SEO Status

SEO Content

All current SEO content will be analyzed for potential effectiveness. Keyword density, placement and overall usage will be examined.

SEO Viability Report

How your website is coded on a technical level is sometimes more important than its content. We will review your site navigation, content structure, and organization to assure it is SEO Viable. We will also run site diagnostics to assure you have no errors in the site’s makeup. This includes: JavaScript, Flash, missing pages, bad links, robot blocks, and inefficient page construction. We will also review the speed your site loads which is very important for improving search placement.

Inbound Links

Identify SEO Keyword Phrases

Actual v. Targeted Keywords

Actual Keywords are the keywords and phrases your site is currently displaying. Most site owners find it surprising how much of a difference there is between what they want their site to say and what it actually says to the search engines.

Targeted Keywords are the words and phrases you hope your site will rank well for. These are the phrases people are using to find your products and services.

Targeted keyword phrases will be identified through discussion with your team as well as a review of industry keyword trends. Particular attention will be given to finding the words most often used by the search audience, not just industry phrases and jargon.

Initial Keyword Ranking Score

A Keyword Ranking Score will identify your search engine presence for your target keywords. This report will show the position you hold for each keyword on Google and Bing.

Initial Site Ranking Score

A Site Ranking Score is a proprietary, prescribed scoring system used to evaluate your search engine presence as a whole. Your site will be graded on where and how well it is ranked for all target keywords. Numeric values are placed on the search results and then factored by search engine, keyword competition and placement. This Ranking Score is one of the factors we use to gauge the overall success of a placement campaign.

Phase 2 – Create, Optimize & Launch

This is where the bulk of the work is done. New content is written, pages created and the website is sent to the search engines for review.

Internal links are links that go from one page on a website to a different page on the same site. These types of links are useful for three reasons:

The Keyword Search Phrases identified in Phase 2 will be used.

Site Map Submission

Most search engines allow the submission of a sitemap or multiple sitemaps through their Webmaster interface. These ‘maps give the search engines a list of URLs (links) for pages, images, and videos that are then visited by their spiders to rank your content. The sitemap should be updated frequently to  take into account of any new content that is added to your site, such as new products, images, articles or videos. Keeping the sitemap file up to date ensures that the search engine spiders are always able to quickly and easily discover your latest content.

Google & Bing Webmaster Accounts

Webmaster accounts with the major search engines will be created to allow us to communicate directly with those sites. Communication can include notifying them of new content on your site or changes in link addresses. The search engines use those accounts to notify us when they are having issues indexing your site or find a problem with site code.

Phase 3 – Submit, Monitor & Tweak

This ongoing phase involves staying on the radar of the search engines and keeping them interested. Fresh content & images are loaded on your site as well as outside websites linked back to yours.
